This is in Elk Township, Vinton County, Ohio.
Some of the land after Moses died was bought or given to his daughter Mary and her husband Daniel Cram.
Vinton County was made up from Gallia, Athens, Ross, Jackson, and Hocking, in 1858. It was Athens County, Elk Township, when Moses bought his land, and died. It is now Vintion County, Elk Township.

George's biography says he came to Ohio in 1833, and the "History of Hocking Vally Ohio" says he came out about 1837.

His headstone says...
Moses Blackman
Died
Dec. 10, 1846
IN THE
65 yr of his
AGE

From "A Brief History Of Vinton County", by Louse Ogan Biggs, it is said that Moses Blackman and his daughter aged seventeen were both buried in Elk Fork Cemetery in 1846. I show that his daughter Harriet, wife of Joseph Barker, also died in 1846 and is buried there, but she was 31 years old at the time.

   Marriage Information:

Moses married Hannah Wentworth, daughter of Jedediah Wentworth and Mary Jordan, on 20 Jan 1806 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts 9. (Hannah Wentworth was born in 1789 in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, died on 24 Dec 1872 in McArthur, Vinton County, Ohio and was buried in Elk Fork Cemetery, Mcarthur, Vinton County, Ohio.)

   Marriage Notes:

Not all the early families were like minded with the Lanes, the Blackmans, the Westcoats and the Swaims as to good citizenship. There were families who were opposed to churches and schools being established in the communities. (From "A Brief History Of Vinton County", by Louse Ogan Biggs)
Moses & Hannah having married and raised their children in Dedham, Massachusetts area removed with their family from Massachusetts to Ohio, in 1833, while the children were still young, settled in Vinton County, Ohio purchasing 430 acres of land there on which he errected a beautiful residence and at the time of his death, 1844 he had one of the best improved farms in Vinton County.
