From a Wapello newspaper dated April 25, 1895: Married, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Blackman, of Chillicothe, Ia., Miss Christa Blackman to Mr. C. H. Conwell, of Colorado. Miss Christa is one of Wapello's best women and is in every way worthy. Mr. Conwell was born and raised in Wapello county, but for a number of years has been in Western Colorado, where he has succeeded in business interests. He is a good young man and great happiness will attend this union.
