Sarah Ann Swangle was Pennsylvania Dutch and her parents were from Germany. She had very brown eyes and dark hair.
She suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Sarah married James Cloice Johnson, son of John Johnson and Martha Blaine, on 22 Aug 1854 in Jamestown, Greene County, Ohio. (James Cloice Johnson was born on 19 Nov 1833 and died in 1876.)
Marriage Notes:
They had 12 children, 9 boys and 3 girls.
They were married in Jamestown Ohio, then moved to New Home Iowa. After that they moved to Blue Mound, Linn County, Kansas.
They are buried in a cemetery in the vicinity of Blue Mound Kansas. She was living with Charley Johnson in Coloney Kansas at the time of her death.
